Basic Income Network Lanark

A fast growing local group founded in November 2022, Basic Income Network Lanark is an informal group of advocates who promote basic income as a means for better health and a means for building equity, stimulating local economies, and building personal, family, and community resilience.

Our mission is to advocate, within and beyond Lanark County, Ontario, for a Basic Income Guarantee in Canada, ensuring that every person has financial stability and security to meet their basic needs and participate in society. We strive to educate and engage with communities, decision-makers, and stakeholders to help realize a future where everyone has an even chance to thrive. Open to all who are interested in championing this concept.
