Thanks to the Perth and District Community Foundation grant, we were able to create a new program to support community members in growing their own food.

One of the themes identified in our 2020 COVID Community Check was that people want to do more gardening but are facing barriers to doing so. To foster a healthier and more connected community and improve access to healthy food we will support 20 participants to overcome barriers to vegetable gardening.

Participants of this program will receive:

• Free seeds and plants

• Seed starting supplies

• Regular check ins and mentoring
