Our Board of Directors is Recruiting

The Table is seeking three new members to serve as Directors on our dynamic governance Board !! 

The Table is a non-profit organization whose vision includes a more connected community and a sustainable food system in which everyone has access to healthy food. The Table supports the people of Perth and surrounding areas as well as Smiths Falls. 

Our 12 member Board of Directors ensures good governance and uses a consensus model of decision-making.  The initial term of office is for 3 years. The work of the Board is primarily conducted by the Board standing committees:  Finance, Governance, HR, Fundraising and Nominating committees. 

Key responsibilities of Board members are:

•   Actively participate in monthly Board meetings

•   Participate in at least one of our committees aligned with your interests and expertise

•   Support fundraising and community outreach efforts

•   Act as an ambassador for The Table

Consider joining our volunteer Board of Directors to help promote strategies that improve the health and well-being of our communities.  We strive to recruit a Board that reflects the diversity of peoples in the community and we value learning from the knowledge and lived experiences of members.
